Henkes, a candidate for Campbell County Attorney, asked that a man be sentenced to two additional years in prison for exercising his Constitutional Right to a jury trial.  In that case the Judge observed, "Coleman exercised his Constitutional right to have a jury trial, and that cannot be held against him."  The fact that the Judge protected the defendant's Constitutional Rights, however, doesn't excuse the illegal actions of self-proclaimed, "professional prosecutor," Nathan Henkes -- the fact that Henkes made the request is by itself a crime against the US Constitution, and therefore a crime against every US Citizen.

Henkes makes the claim that his 14 years as a prosecutor make him uniquely qualified to be Campbell County Attorney.  From my viewpoint, Nathan Henkes' corrupt and unjust behaviors as a prosecutor make him uniquely qualified to suborn perjury from the criminal members of law enforcement who have never been removed (or reprimanded or even recognized for what they are) after their violations are proven by their own body-camera footage.

Of interest, Henkes did say the Campbell County Attorney's office does no investigative work of its own, their investigations rely entirely on law enforcement.  The fact that law enforcement is endorsing Henkes should be all you need to know to vote for Mitch Damsky.

Nathan Henkes made the claim that his opponent, Mitch Damsky, was the reason the Campbell County Attorney's office was short of staff.  Then in another public speech Henkes stated that many of the personnel still in the Campbell County Attorney's office aren't doing their share of the work, and he will be getting rid of them if he is elected.  Is it just me, or is that completely two-faced?  It is apparent to me that if Damsky got rid of all the corrupt help in his office, he'd be running it with a skeleton crew.

Henkes is critical that an employee of a defense attorney is involved with Damsky's campaign.  It is fully comprehensible to me that prosecutors and defense attorneys can be sociable, like each other, and still both fully uphold the law.  A friendship or kinship with the employee of a competitor seems downright American to me.

It is claimed that Damsky has involved Lubnau Law, the law firm of corrupt local attorney Tom Lubnau, in all of the county's business.  It is comprehensible to me that, if you are desperate for legitimate attorneys, you might outsource to local attorneys.  It is possible that not every attorney at Lubnau's law firm is corrupt.  It is possible that attorneys at other law firms are also corrupt, and just haven't been exposed.  For these reasons I am willing to accept that Lubnau attorneys are involved in Campbell County business, and still vote for Mitch Damsky.

When you look at the pay scale for prosecutors, in 2020 Henkes was making $114,046.70 while the actual Campbell County Attorney only made $100,000.00.  Someone thinks he's hot stuff!  When I watch Henkes perform I am reminded of a saying, from back when I was a teenager, listening to the men discuss other men:  "If I could buy him for what I think he's worth, and sell him for what he thinks he's worth, I could retire."

Henkes has been Chief Deputy Attorney here since 2015.  Those are 6 of the most horrific years on record for violations of citizens' rights in Campbell County Wyoming by the entire criminal "justice system."  Mitch Damsky has been with the County Attorney's office for less than two years -- Damsky is certainly not the biggest part of the problem, if at all.
