08-07-2021    12:44 PM    OPINION    Above the law...is that more troublesome than the fact they are distributing porn to underage children?

I am one of those people who thinks there should not be a law against kids smoking or drinking. This isn't a moral issue for me. It's the absolute subversion of the law, while the entire "legal" system and "justice" system sit on there hands and allow it to happen. One of the definitions for sex offender is, "Communication with a Minor for Immoral Purposes."

I agree with the citizens who say we need to get past the moral issue. Agreed. We should just be enforcing the law, not debating the morality of Sue Knesel and Terrie Leslie teaching underage kids specific sex to have for entertainment purposes.

When an ordinary citizen, under the influence of any substance, makes an error in judgment, there is public shaming, financial penalties, and jail time involved. When leaders of this community violate the law, presumably stone cold sober, it is ignored and thereby supported. Now we have to face the fact that these folks made a deliberate decision, and they are defending violation of a law that is in place to protect kids.

Your police department and your sheriff's department appear to be applauding Sue Knesel and Terrie Leslie for distributing porn to your kids, which is exhibited by the fact that no charges have been filed, and the crime is allowed to continue. Or perhaps it isn't their jurisdiction, as the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation said it is not in their jurisdiction.

I believe that if Sue Knesel and Terrie Leslie are not labeled sex offenders and punished for violating the law, and promoting pornography to underage kids, there should be no other adults ever labeled a child predator for sharing the world of sex with underage kids. These two women should not be above the law. They have both taken a stand that it was a deliberate action and they have no remorse. In fact, the book "This Book is Gay" is probably not the worst material in the teen section. Grown women win lawsuits against grown men for lesser sexual overtures than are in the books these two women proudly defend providing to minors.

The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard is, there is a process for having a book removed.

What the law would tell an ordinary citizen who did this is, Get a defense attorney, you broke the law.

I'm starting to wonder if citizens whose bio includes "from New York" are actually from other countries with a specific anti-American agenda, and just passed through New York on the way to their assignment.

No one should be above the law. If the law is not enforced against Sue Knesel and Terrie Leslie, that law should be abolished so that no citizen is ever again prosecuted in Campbell County for corruption of a minor.

Rape is a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual penetration carried out against a person who is ...or is below the legal age of consent.

Sue Knesel and Terrie Leslie (and all you folks in elected or appointed positions of power who have not yet filed charges against these two) are promoting rape against the children in our community. Proud of yourselves? That's quite a legacy.

Thank you for reading. The purpose of my campaigns is to highlight corruption and to get assistance from anyone who is able and willing to help return Gillette and Campbell County and Wyoming to American Ideals, and hopefully a culture that applies the law equally to all citizens regardless of position or social class. Thank you so much for the efforts you are making and have already made. Please forward to everyone that you know who might be interested in the information I share. God Bless You, and God Bless America.
