At the February Library Board Meeting, a speaker listed numerous lies and deceptions committed by Terri Lesley and requested her removal from employment by Campbell County. That meeting has never been posted for viewing by the public. Why not? Why are tax payers still paying to have those meetings recorded, while none of the videos are being made available to the public?
Are the Commissioners just so ashamed of the members of the library board that they don't want the meetings viewed?
The language regarding kids and kids having sex can be confusing. Terri Lesley defended a book choice for youth by implying the sex was consensual, and not philia. Apparently sex between two underaged kids is not philia, but it is Statutory Rape. "Consensual philia" were not Terri Lesley's exact words, but was the summary presented to me.
A great number of ALA librarians and their supporters decry the use of the word pedo when used to describe their activities aimed at minors. Perhaps they are hebephiles (ages 11-14) or ephephiles (ages 15-18), it still ends with phile. In 2011 the Psychiatric Times made the bold statement that these are not mental disorders, they are crimes. Of course, that was back in the dark ages.
Speaking of the dark ages (of which I am a product), I was shocked yet again today to be told that in one of the books Terri Lesley, Darcy Acord, Charlie Anderson, Miranda Finn, and Nancy Stovall chose to remain on the shelves for youth, available to patrons age birth+ per ALA policy, "Sister tries to get little sister to taste her vaginal fluid." Terri Lesley would know pornography if she saw it, but she is certain there is none available for youth in the public library.

We from the dark ages are struggling to understand how that is legal distribution of material for any age group when it is allegedly a violation of the law in all of the United States of America to practice it. Terri Lesley would know pornography if she saw it, but she is certain there is none available for youth in the public library.
