This morning I was reflecting on how the vernacular could change now that ALA librarians are teaching children it is normal and fun to urinate on one another. Suddenly the expression "piss on you" becomes a benediction, rather than the disrespectful slang it was intended to be.

Typed into the search bar "piss on you" just to double check the meaning, and up pops an article about R. Kelly and newly surfaced child porn, created by and starring R. Kelly, in which he urinates into the face of a 14 year old girl. In 2021 R. Kelly was found guilty on federal charges including years of alleged sexual abuse of young girls.

Federal prosecutors and judges agree that this content is totally illegal in the USA. R. Kelly's first prosecution for possession of child porn lasted 6 years and ended without conviction. His victims spent another 10 years working to get the charges brought back. "Nearly a year" after that the new video evidence surfaced, and 2 more years after that, R. Kelly was convicted and now faces a minimum of 10 years in federal prison.

At recent public meetings it has been commented on that this outcry against vulgar, profane, pornographic (as defined by law) books in the library has gone on for "nearly a year now." The implication being we should shut up and sit down? No, you remove those filthy books.

"Nearly a year" has been spent fighting against ALA-mandated teaching of sex-fetish practices to children at Public Schools and Public Libraries.

We are just getting started.
