The Gillette News Record ran an interesting take on the most recent library board meeting.  You can read it here.

From the article:  "Bear said that for the September library board meeting, she wants to hear from both sides about the ALA."  It does not mention that Terri Lesley said that meeting room will be in use for a book sale in September, so the ALA debate will need to happen in October.  Perhaps it will be debated at both meetings.

Jonathan Gallardo writes regarding the pro-family group Mass Resistance, "The Gillette chapter was formed in July 2021. Since then, it's worked to tell the community that the library is actively corrupting the youth with its books."

Wyoming libraries are circulating a book This Book is Gay (the updated version) to youth that includes introducing them to the "normal behaviors" of eating poop, golden showers, and group sex.

They are circulating a book Sex Plus: Learning, Loving, and Enjoying Your Body to youth which includes the "normal behaviors" of fisting and sex torture for play.

Wyoming libraries are circulating a book Gender Queer to youth (which is also in some Wyoming high school libraries) depicting the "normal behavior" of an adult man fondling the penis of a little boy.  If you look at the image from p135 of Gender Queer, you should notice that the grown man is on his knees and that makes him the same height as his sex partner, who stands on his feet.

These are not isolated examples; there are entire collections of these books targeted at minors by ALA librarians, in schools and in public libraries, despite state laws against corrupting minors.

You must be out of your mind, exaggerating, Lying or very confused.  Librarians are NOT doing this stuff.  If you don't want your child to read certain books don't let them, take them out of the library.  This is utter nonsense and hysterical talk.

Libraries are for everyone to read whatever they want.  They aren't pushing any agenda but to encourage people, even children to read.  I'm so fearful of these rants that accuse decent folks of misguided misinformation.  This behavior influences your children negatively.

What behavior is more likely to influence your children negatively:  Books that teach children younger than the age of 10 how to get comfortable having their anuses touched (as found in Sex is a Funny Word), or parents protesting that this training is inappropriate for their kids?

It is reported that the ALA librarians have created a hostile working environment for the librarians who disagree with pushing obscene material on underaged kids.  That behavior should also be addressed.

The ALA librarians are offenders, just as when a clerk sells alcohol or tobacco to a minor.  The clerk (and the absentee owner of the business) are ticketed for crimes committed against children, and corrupting minors.  These librarians need to answer to the law the same way.
